Our decision to enter the organic citrus market emerged naturally from our beginnings in conventional and the philosophy of integrated production. Both of which governed under the rules of the IOBC (International Organization for Biological Control): integrated control and biological fight against pests through the release of natural predators and parasites.

Consequently, our agriculture has evolved to be healthier and more environmentally friendly by eliminating the use of pesticides and synthetic inorganic products.

Rio Tinto Citricos

This land is dedicated exclusively to the cultivation of organic citrus fruits: mostly oranges, clementines and mandarins as well as lemons and grapefruit.

Rio Tinto Citricos

In our packing house, we have a production line exclusively dedicated to organic fruit.

Rio Tinto Citricos

On our farm, 1000 hectares of uncultivated land allow the possibility to increase our organic crop as customers demand.

Our main goal is to guarantee a continuous supply of organic fruit from the beginning to the end of the citrus season.
